Each person's reason for entering therapy is unique. I take a person-centered approach to meet you where you are and proceed at your pace.

 

I understand struggles and symptoms as uncomfortable and deep life callings. My depth-oriented approach leans into the unconscious roots and meaning of suffering in order to make long-lasting change and transformation. I provide a safe and confidential space for you to be heard, as well as practical skills and insights to facilitate the natural transformation of your suffering.

 

Talk therapy, dream work, expressive arts, therapeutic sand tray, mindfulness, and somatic work are just a few examples of what might be helpful in our process. Together we will explore and find what works for you on your path to wellness and wholeness.

About Me

I came to the field of psychotherapy through my background as an artist, as well as a teacher and practitioner of art, yoga, and mindfulness. These creative and contemplative practices gave me an intimate experience of working with my own suffering and the healing quality of turning inward with friendliness and curiosity. In my experience, I understand that one's relationship to their inner life mirrors their path to healing and wholeness: the path to creating the life we were each born to live.

People who work with me are looking for deep and long-lasting change. They are curious and interested in the deeper meaning and calling in their suffering and symptoms. Together, over time, we explore outer and inner experiences through methodologies that might include talking, dream work, art therapy, sand tray work, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and paying attention to our relationship.  We always keep a metaphorical ear to the unconscious. Through this "listening" we learn to understand the meaning of the suffering, to transform the suffering, and to cultivate a relationship with deeper soul-level callings toward a meaningful and creative life.  

My Fee

Insurance

My rate is $110 per 55-minute session

 

I currently accept Medicaid, Cigna and BCBS

 

Psychotherapy may be reimbursed in part or full by other insurances. Please check your coverage carefully by asking your provider these questions:

  • Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Payment

Cash, check, or credit card are accepted for payment of fee or copay at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon.

Cancellation Policy

Please notify me within at least 24 hours, otherwise--unless

restricted by your insurance--you will be responsible for the full no-show or late cancellation fee of $110.
